When you are staying in the mountains you have to worship the Weather Forecasting Service. If you don’t, or even forget to just for one day, then you are screwed. We were supposed to come back today from Pescocostanzo, but we wanted to stay as long as we could. And then it happend. We didn’t see it coming, it seemed to come from nowhere, but it did and now the snow storm is making it impossible to leave. Temperature dropped to minus A LOT and streets are covered with snow which will quickly turn into ice.
We’ll have to wait for the sun, hoping there won’t be too much ice on the roads. If only we had worshipped the Weather Forecasting Service, we would have avoided all of it.
On the bright side, Agata loved watching the snow storm from the window. And we have some spare ribs in the oven…
