Seventeenth day of “Night Walking”.
Porta Portese, Rome, Courtyard.
Another night of sneaking, this time through courtyards, which open to parkings, which open to other courtyards, which open to other parkings, and so on and so on, till eventually reaching an otherwise unreachable street. The more I wander around the neighbourhood the more I get trapped in its maze. I walk into the darkness just to find it always leads to deeper darkness. Seriously, I can’t understand how this area has been developed, it doesn’t make any sense at all, and maybe this is why I love so much getting lost in it.
