Two days to Christmas, nine to 2013, and just fifty to the end of the project. Am I starting to panic? Just a little bit. I currently have a few ideas on how to proceed after the 11th of February, but I’m still really far from making my mind up, I’m actually pretty sure I’ll come up with a bunch of new ideas in the next weeks, which make all but easy to settle eventually down for one and start planning for it. Because, you know, I feel that the next project should be more planned than this one. It should have a clearer subject, more definite outcomes, etc. It ought to be, that is, a step further and a tougher challenge.

Whatever it will be, however, I’m looking for a sponsor. The next project either will be based on new equipment (I would like to do a “rx1 365: one body, one lens, 365 days”), artistic projects (52 pieces, one every week, with daily backstage stories), or place discovery (urban night all over the world?). Whatever that will be, it will cost money and time. Already now, the 365+1 Days of NEX-7 requires around three to four hours a day, accounting for shooting, the post production, the post writing, the publishing, and then answering to the messages, emails, and comments you kindly daily post, send, and leave. So, in whichever direction I should eventually decide to make the “step further”, it will anyway bring me to a more demanding situation, both in terms of money and time (which are, anyway, a function of each other).

To sum up, I’ve got a few ideas (and more are coming) on the next project, but I’m currently lacking of ideas on how to find some support. I would be really glad if you could share your thoughts on this subject, you already proved to be full of excellent ideas whenever I asked for one (and to be very deductive even when I would have preferred rather not!), so I’m all ears!

That said, I took this shot at the MACRO’s (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome) “branch” inside which originally was the factory of the Peroni beer, in via Nizza, Rome. I’ve never been there before and I loved it, I strongly suggest you to pay a visit to the place if you ever happen to be in Rome. And if you go there on Sunday, enjoy the excellent brunch on the roof terrace. It is terrific.
