Thirty first, and last, day of the “Family Holidays” theme. I took this shot two weeks ago, and I kept it as the “closure photo” of the theme. Somehow it gives me the feeling of the end of summer / end of holidays. And end of an age too. Sure, next year we’ll be enjoying this very same beach, but Agata will be so much different that nothing will be the same at all. I’ve always been prone to nostalgia, so guess how I feel now… However, I’m so glad I took this whole month and dedicated it to my daughter, not only photographically. We shared a lot of time, and with it a lot of experiences, little adventures, and sweet moments. These photos are such priceless memories, which will gain value year after year, after year, after year. So long family holidays, it’s time to get back to reality, for sweet and sour as it could be.
