Twentieth day of the “Family Holidays” theme, it’s Agata and me. She takes naps on my chest when we are at the beach. She plays a lot, then she eats, she plays a bit more, and then gets sleepy. That is when we get in the little blue beach-tent we’ve got from Decathlon, she sucks the pacifier, I lay down, she lays on me, and we sleep. It’s one of the sweetest moment of my day. And of my life. And one which makes me feel like I really am a good daddy. Because my father was a good daddy. And my little sister used to take naps on his chest at summer. It is a very vivid memory, also because we have a photo of it hanging on the wall at the summer-house. And that is one of my father’s favorite photos of all time. And now I have one too. Except, I took it by myself. Because when it’s nap-time, in the little blue beach-tent there’s nobody else than Agata and myself. Sleeping. In the sweetest hug.
