The RX1 is so compact and sturdy that I don’t fear the sand as I usually do. And the macro is really impressive. Look here at the details (no sharpening applied) that the lens captured even full opened at f2, and how beautifully (and quickly) everything blurs away…
I wanted to use another photo app, Photoshop Touch, but the latter doesn’t save files any larger than 12mpx, a shame for the RX1… so I went back to Photo Forge 2…
