Sixth day of “Meet Shadow”.
Ombra plays. I know, she’s a puppy dog so she’s meant to play. However, this is the first time she actually acknowledges the ball and plays with it. It is a very important step into her integration in our home, her new family. She spent her first three and a half months living with her mother, brothers, sisters, an aunt (her mother’s sister) and a Golden Retriever. Then she suddenly got kidnapped by us (we obviously didn’t kidnap her, we bought her, but from her point of view a kidnap must have been the only possible explanation). But now she’s happy, she’s got confidence with the flat and its inhabitants, and shows her happiness by “puppishly” playing in the terrace with balls and discs.
Starting tomorrow we’ll be working on ball-fetching.
